Most following compositions have been written tointroduce ringers to the most common patterns in 6/8 meter.
The meter designates these original compositions as Level 3 but each title is relatively easy.
Four short exercises on the back page of each publication provide drill on each pattern by itself
and in combination with the other patterns. After working through these exercises, the ringers should be
able to ring
the actual piece in 6/8 meter.

Nativity Medley — (6 ringers: B4–F6) Levels 2+ & 3 DT-2007— $4.50 | Four familiar carols are included in this medley:
It Came upon the Midnight Clear
O Little Town of Bethlehem
What Child Is This
Scored for both bells and chimes, it can be played with only one tone color.
Short bridges between carols make this medley flow smoothly but any carol may be rung as a single piece.
Directions are included for using the transitional measures as an introduction to single carol.
The 6/8 meter in three of the carols designates them as Level 3; many quick bell changes could also be considered Level 3.
The meter should not be a problem if the ringers are familiar with these carols.
Alternative assignments are suggested for the difficult bell changes.
Ideal for any Christmas Eve service, this medley would be a genuine asset for choirs that will be missing a few ringers during the holiday season.
